At a glance
- Ghost uses audit-request information to respond to the request and discuss relevant dealership BDC services.
- Do not submit customer applications, credit information, Social Security numbers, payment information, or other highly sensitive information through this website.
- Ghost does not sell or rent audit-request contact information for third-party behavioral advertising.
Scope
This policy applies to information Ghost receives through ghostmarketings.com, including the free conversion-audit form and messages sent to Ghost using contact details on this site. It does not apply to websites, software, or services operated by other companies.
Information Ghost collects
Information you submit. When you request an audit, Ghost may collect your dealership name, name, business email address, phone number, monthly lead volume, current and target conversion rates, application-to-sale rate, and any message or notes you choose to provide.
Campaign and referral information. If you reach the site through a tagged link and submit an audit request, Ghost may receive the landing-page path and campaign parameters included in the link, such as UTM values or Google advertising click identifiers. This helps Ghost understand which offer or channel generated the request.
Technical and security information. Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser or device information, request metadata, timestamps, and security signals to deliver, secure, and operate the site. Ghost uses the requesting IP address in memory to help rate-limit the audit endpoint; it is not intentionally included in the audit lead payload.
Information this form is not for
Do not submit highly sensitive personal or financial information through the audit form. This includes Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank or payment-card information, driver’s-license images, consumer reports, customer credit applications, and financial documents. The audit form is for dealership business inquiries, not for customer financing or credit applications.
How Ghost uses information
Ghost may use information collected through the site to respond to audit requests, evaluate the dealership process described in the request, prepare illustrative funnel calculations, communicate about requested services, operate and protect the website, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, maintain business records, and comply with lawful obligations.
Ghost may contact you by email or phone in response to the request you make. You can ask Ghost to stop non-essential follow-up communications at any time.
How information may be shared
Ghost shares information only as reasonably needed to operate the site and respond to a request. This can include:
- Cloudflare, which provides hosting, traffic security, and the serverless audit endpoint.
- Email-delivery providers, including Brevo or Resend when configured, to deliver audit-request notifications and confirmations.
- A webhook destination selected by Ghost, when one is configured to receive an audit request.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal process.
Ghost does not sell or rent personal information and does not share audit-request information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
Ghost does not currently operate advertising cookies, behavioral-advertising trackers, or a third-party analytics pixel on this site. Cloudflare and other providers may use technical mechanisms needed to provide security, reliability, and delivery. If Ghost adds analytics, advertising technology, or materially different data practices, this policy will be updated before or when those changes take effect.
Retention and security
Ghost keeps inquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, manage the business relationship, protect the site, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational obligations. Information should be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes.
Ghost uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small business website, including HTTPS, security headers, server-side validation, payload limits, rate limiting, and restricted handling of form-delivery credentials. No website, network, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask Ghost to access, correct, or delete information you submitted through this site, subject to legitimate security, operational, and legal needs. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address connected to your inquiry and describe the request. Ghost may need to verify the request before responding.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for dealership owners, managers, and other business users. It is not directed to children under 13, and Ghost does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the audit form.
Changes to this policy
Ghost may update this policy when the website, service providers, communication methods, or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a material change is made.
